Well kids, the sad day has finally arrived: Trev and I can no longer afford to pay the monkeys whose kinetic energy kept Jen and Trev vs Europe online. Damn you, cyclone Larry!!!...As such, Jen and Trev vs Europe is saying arrivederci, au revoir, adios and adeus.

It all started in February 2004 and has taken us to 58 cities in 20 countries and 4 continents (and they were only the ones we remembered to take our cameras to!). Now we're finally "home" - and a whole lot smarter, a little bit fatter, a couple of years older, and muchas poorer. :)

We've seen the sights and had delights on every foreign shore (well, Trev's had more delights on foreign shores, ifyouknowwhatimean ;) ;) ). There's been weddings; funerals; crazy, cat-wielding grandmas; tattoos (both military and skin-based); pizza from vending machines and a run in with a psychiatric hospital. But for now, it's time to knuckle down and get a job so we can stop mooching off the parents. ha! never!!

Anyhoo, it's been a long and winding road...and I get car sick, so I'll just leave you with this final pearl of wisdom: winners don't use drugs!!

Freak Out!

hey team

Im back home again now in sunny Perth, Australia and its a total freakout to be back. Everything is super familiar and I feel as if I never left and my entire trip was some sort of crazy sleeping pill induced dream. So its a bit strange, but its great seeing my family again and its gonna be great to see my friends soon too.

In saying that, I will be at the farm until thursday now dudes, so drinks will have to be around then I guess.

Highlights of the trip home: jetskiing in Florida Keys and walking the grand canyon with Kanako.

Lowlights of the trip home: leaving the trek america team in LA. oh and LA - what a dive!

so yeah, now Jen and I are both home (well, she is in Tailand now - lucky little monkey) the adventure is pretty much over. I think this will be the second last post here; the last post will include my New Zealand photos and a final farewell. oh god - I'm so emotional right now! boo hoo.

Hey team

Its 10pm and im just about to leave San Fran on the dodgy greyhound bus on the midnight horror run, back to seedy LA for my next flight. And a sad time it is too, I really like San Fran. Its nice and small, so I have been walking everywhere and there are less druggos and homeless people so it feels much safer.

Whilst I have been here I have sung Karaoke with dudes from the hostel, visited Alcatraz, had dinner and drinks with my Trek America team and gone on a bike tour.

It was great seeing the Trek team again for a last time. Im sure gonna miss those funky kids. You punks better email me!!

One of my goals in San Fran was to walk the Goldern Gate Bridge, and I was going to cycle it today, but my bike broke (lucky me) so i got a dinky over the bridge by the bike tour leader! Now thats doing the bridge in style!

anyhow, I have to join the druggies and rednecks at the greyhound bus terminal now, so.... wish me luck!

LA is such a hole

Hey team

good news! I got out of LA. It is such a hole, beggers and homeless people and weirdos everywhere. So many areas are really dodgy at night and getting around costs a billion dollars coz their public transport is stuck in the middle ages.

but back to the good news, im in San Fransisco now! at the most beautiful hostel ever. and today I hope to check out Alcatraz and the Goldern Gate Bridge and hopefully meet up with my Trek America team.

Now for the bad news. My Trek America trip is over and I had to leave all my friends and the beautiful Kanako had to go home. Unhappy days kids but I have to say that I would recommend Trek America to everyone; its cheap, the people are great and you get to do so many excellent things! Props to Brian for encouraging me to do the tour!

On friday I am flying to Auckland, so more news then! hopefully ill find an internet cafe today so I can post some pictures!

Viva Las Vegas!

Hey team!

Hows things in sunny downunder and sunny london? Its absolutely melting here in the Arizona desert and I had the pleasure of hiking in this weather. Yep, thats right, I hiked 3 miles into the Grand Canyon today in blistering heat and 3 miles back out again. And jesus am I unfit (Jesus: yes, you are a butter ball trev). Despite the sweltering heat it was a fantastic hike and I have some excellent pictures to put online soon.

Tomorrow the tour goes to Las Vegas for 2 days of insanity and debauchery. Some of us are going to try and complete the 7 deadly sins whilst we are in sin city (vegas). Im hoping to complete glutteny first :)

Internet in the states is almost impossible to find, so sorry about not answering emails and putting up pix. But here is a run down of what ive been doing in the last week or so. Ill work backwards coz its easier.

Today in Dorango (colorado) we went and checked out some cool Indian ruins, before that we were in Santa Fe (what a horrible tourist trap), Austin (texas) before that, and New Orleans before that which was lots of fun.

In short I have been sight seeing, drinking, travelling, drinking, sleeping and drinking. My liver wont talk to me anymore.

Anyhow, take care kids. Hope ur all having fun.

Hey sports fans!

in case u couldnt tell from the title, Im in the Florida Keys at the moment, which is the southern most point of the states and it is fantastic. Blue skies, palm trees, beautiful women and fantastic beaches! oh and beer! what else could a man want?

My budgeting here isnt going so well though, I keep on drinking too much and doing too many water sports - ahhh, but itss soooo much fun!! Yesterday I went parasailing and today we rented Jet skis - and oh my god they are so much fun to thrash around!

Tomorrow we are heading for Oregon (I think) where we spend another couple of days and visit Disney World and maybe Universal Cinemas - should be a blast!

and good news! no drive bys for me! but lots of crazy drinking.
